If I told you I was born in Kentucky and raised on a horse farm, your first impression probably wouldn’t be of a computer nerd who really liked to study China. That’s what I am, though! I grew up working in a barn, mucking stalls, and throwing hay in the summer. All that hard work and sweat gave me both a strong work ethic and a stronger desire to make it so I didn’t have to work on a farm as a career. I love my home, but for the forseeable future, I’m applying lessons learned in the cow field to problems encountered on the computer.
It’s easier than you might think. When it comes down to it, all anything really needs is grit, sweat, and a whole lot of patience. That’s why I feel confident enough to branch out and do so many different things, and it’s why you should too! Enjoy your stay!
